What Was Expected When God Created Woman

There are so many opinions and discussions about women, and what we must be; how can we know what our Creator expected us to become? Is there a role model, an example to follow or compare our progress to? It may have been right before our eyes all this time; we just did not recognize it!

Earth is the feminine energy established by our Creator; right before our very eyes all this time. If we look closely at what this means we can find the example and the value of embracing His expression of femininity. We find proof of great expectations and rewards we may have overlooked.

1) Earth is nurturing, providing the essentials to promote new growth, to heal, to feed, clothe and shelter her family, life. She embodies the promise of a better tomorrow with her magnificent sunrises, encouraging life to continue, promising the essentials like plants and water supplies will continue on, no matter the challenges... just like woman.

2) She is strong; earth withstands battering winds of hurricanes and typhoons, flooding and even her horrific separation and breaking apart in earthquakes. She assesses the damage, cleans up what is possible and uses the refuse that remains as mulch for protection of the new plants that will emerge from the carnage... just like woman.

3) She is caring; the morning dew covers each petal of her precious flowers, each blossom on her trees. The air is cleansed regularly on her 'wash day' with gentle rains. When a real change is necessary, her thunder storms and lightening cut through the density and leave a trail of new promises to be fulfilled, witnessed by the rainbow... just like woman.

4) She is firm; ever aware that some rules must not be broken; earth is intolerant of intentional abuse. Dump toxins into her air and water and you will reap what was sewn. They are spewed forth in contaminated water and toxic rainfall for all to learn from... just like woman.

5) She is filled with promise; as every season changes, we see the completion of one cycle and the promise of another; each cycle necessary to sustain the flow of life she supports. Just as a mother nurtures a newborn, a baby to toddler, to young adult, to adult, all that is required to sustain the cycles are embedded within her. The promises each fulfilled as we see the beauty emerging, from each completed cycle... just like woman.

Our role model and example is gentle yet strong, firm yet tolerant of that which was not malevolent, forgiving yet willing to let go and go on when it is necessary, strong enough to withstand the most powerful forces yet fragile enough to care for all that is alive and willing to grow. We have a wonderful role model with evidence of great expectations and examples of astonishing capabilities... when God created woman!
